Speed Up Windows PC. Tip #1 – How to Defragment the Disk Drive – Aman Vats: The hard disk of any PC is divided into blocks and sectors of standard size. Every block or sector has a unique address. While saving data some data from bigger files are saved across blocks or sectors. This scatters the storage of a single file and accessing the file takes time. Another reason is when files are stored and deleted currently, this causes a gap (blank blocks/sectors) on disk. Thus also causes a delay in data accessing.
